After we were able to visit Alvin's grave, basically the only grave in the cemetery. They restored his headstone but were able to keep his original. Brother Tune got up and spoke about repairing good relationships with your family and siblings. Alvin and Hiram were so supportive of Joseph. I can't even imigine how many times Joseph went to Alvin's grave for guidance.

We visited the Hill Cumorah directly after the Palmyra Temple. We had been fasting all day and everyone at this point was starting to get a little agitated. But we had a fabulous meeting here. It's amazing to me that this was the real place that Moroni got the plates out of the land from here to give to Joseph. Also that it is a possibility that the last battle of the Nephites and Lamanites took place here. The gospel was lost and restored on the same hill.
